JOB SUMMARY

The Motion Graphics Designer at Muslim English Language Institute (MELI) will be responsible for creating visually stunning motion and still graphics, video editing, and presenting design ideas to the Marketing Manager. They will work closely with the Marketing department to produce creative and visually appealing content for various platforms. Additionally, the Motion Graphics Designer may be involved in video shooting or photoshoots if required.

Duties & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing motion and still graphics that align with the organization's brand identity.
• Editing videos to create engaging and professional content.
• Presenting different design ideas to the Marketing Manager and seeking approval.
• Creating storyboards, logos, trailers, and promos using 3D, 2D, and visual effect elements after obtaining approval.
• Developing still designs and illustrations for print purposes if necessary.
• Assisting with video shooting or photoshoots as needed.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in the Marketing department to produce creative and visually appealing content.
• Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating new techniques and tools into design projects.
• Adherence to MELI policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and productive working experience.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Higher
• Videography courses or relevant certifications.
• Proficiency in operating professional cameras and lighting equipment.
• Strong skills in motion graphics and still graphics design.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in motion graphics design.
• Proficiency in software such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to conceptualize ideas.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative and technical abilities in motion graphics design.
• Possess qualities of humility, maturity, respectfulness, honesty, and integrity.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Have command on both National Languages (Dari & Pashto)
