Job Summary
Responsible for all accounting and financial management of the Company Accounting Management, ensuring financial data is properly recorded on a timely basis, Review all office invoices and vouchers and making sure that all invoices are supported by proper and required documents, Monitor and control expenses to ensure all are according to the proper cost centers as assigned by line Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
Performing complex and technical accounting and financial functions such as general ledger review, journal entries, and financial reports.
Prepare updates on various accruals and cash advances.
Supervise the accounts payable/receivable.
General Bookkeeping, maintaining files and record keeping in an appropriate manner and accuracy.
Booking of expenses, fixed Assets, payments, and filing of vouchers.
Checking and verifying taxes (withholding taxes on contracts, interest paid, salaries, and rent) calculations and ensuring all the taxes are paid on a timely manner to Ministry of Finance
Prepare/Submit and Pay Withholding, BRT Taxes.
Manage the day-to-day financial functions of the project.
Preparing monthly/annual accounts closure, including bank reconciliations and submission of timely and accurate reports.
Monitors budgets and expenditures and contributes to the preparation of budgets.
Preparing Financial monthly/quarterly and yearly reports.
Preparing Financial statements on a monthly and yearly basis
Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in financial management. Previous experience in writing financial reports is mandatory.

Skills:

Must be fluent in Pashto, and English.

Strong team orientation and staff development skills;

Performance management and improvement skills;

Good written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills;

Knowledge of accounting software is mandatory, preferably QuickBooks and advanced Excel.
