Job Summary

The sales officer is an important role within the sales department mainly responsible for selling airtime and advertising on all ATN platforms including Ariana TV, Ariana News, 93.5 Ariana FM and 100.2 Ariana News FM. The sales officer works in a fast-paced and evolving target-oriented environment and reports to the Sales Manager and/or Head of Sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

Identify sales and sponsorship opportunities within the local market for selling airtime to clients.

Build, maintain, and develop professional relationships with existing and new clients.

Visit potential clients for selling advertising on all ATN platforms.

Prepare and update a comprehensive database of clients contacts and details on a regular basis.

Coordinate with scheduling and backend teams for seamless airing and broadcasting of clients TVCs.

Coordinate with other departments within ATN for attracting of partners and clients for B2B relationships

Coordinate with production and channel departments as necessary for broadcasting advertisements.

Implement current sales processes and assist in developing new processes as required in the dynamic media market.

Carry out any and all ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in sales, marketing, or business administration.

Strong communication and persuasion skills.

Proficiency in English language as well as Pashto and Dari.

Computer skills including email, MS Office, Photoshop, and Premier.

Prior experience in media sales is preferred.
