Job Summary
The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, updating and designing of Pajhwok websites and applications according to the management requests.

Duties & Responsibilities
To design, monitor and develop the Pajhwok websites ensuring strong functionality and optimization.
To design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
Responsible for integrating database servers with the PAN website.
Responsible for the design of PAN Websites, adding new features and functionalities.
To developing PAN Websites, and Apps infrastructure with adding new features or updates.
To assist PAN management planning overall strategy regarding web development and search engine optimization.
To monitor web servers and websites technical performance.
Maintain and enhance existing websites and applications and upgrade them if required
Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary.
Conduct all user’s acceptance testing, and report the results.
Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
Develop new themes for the websites in case of PAN request for upgrading the system customization.
Share all updates and changes to PAN Websites and Apps with the local IT team in case of emergency. 

Job Requirements
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, or equivalent formal training, certifications,   or work experience in coding are required (Master’s degree proffered).

Experience:

 At least two years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified for bachelor’s degree and one year of experience for master degree.

Skills / Required

Write code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript, Python, etc. 
Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server or MySQL
Theme development for the websites needed to be upgraded.
Experienced of theme developing and design for WordPress.  
Experienced of theme development and design for Drupal
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
Experience with webservers issues.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience.
Must possess strong skills in Object Oriented Development.
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.

Carry out code refactoring and optimization of existing code and systems.
document the code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it
Design prototype for the applications and website.
All themes and Apps code to be available for local testing and updates.
