Job Summary
Sky Travel is a travel management company which need to be improved and developed according to the market. The marketing and business development officer will work in the supervision of Marketing and business development manager and will report to its manager. Fundamentally the main responsibilities of the position are to do marketing and work with development department as per the below descriptions.

 

A successful Marketing and business development officer must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing and great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator and will have experience in managing different marketing and development ventures.

 

The goal is to ensure that the marketing and development efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.


Duties & Responsibilities
·      Get enough knowledge about the company and products before going to the market.

·      Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies.

·      Support the business development and marketing manager in supervising the department’s operations.

·      Set meeting with existing clients and new clients.

·      Bring new companies and increase market share.

·      Organize and attend business development and marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.

·      Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)

·      Communicate with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.

·      Understand and work on different RFPs, RFQs and other tender documents.

·      See all businesses through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.

·      Prepare contents for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution for example newsletter or special package.

·      Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and development.

·      Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses of the department.

·      Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion.

·      Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to their existing and new clients.

·      Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plan.

·      Visit provincial branches if required.

·      Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activity.

·      Developing and implementing an internal marketing program.

·      Supporting the business development and marketing manager in day to day activities.

·      Supporting other departments if required for example holidays, corporate etc.

·      Increase revenue through its development and marketing techniques.

·      Business development and marketing Officers also responsible for maintaining positive public and media relations.

·      Efficiently work on social media for example, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.

·      Translation of documents into Dari, Pashto and English.

·      Analyze current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.

·      Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.

·      Create and improve unsolicited proposals for our existing and new clients.

·      Prepare the company budget and continually track expenses, as well as make sure we’re on track to hit revenue targets.

·      Provide training and mentoring to members of the business development, marketing and sales team.

·      Analyze current customer base, including portfolios to identify potential sales opportunities.

·      Build strong relationships with customers, outside business contacts, and company stakeholders.

·      Develop and test unique business strategies and concepts.

·      Collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction.

·      Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions.

·      Must be loyal to the company, be sure to keep the company information secret and do not share with market competitors.

·      Comply all the discipline rules and regulation inside and outside the organization.

·      Any other job-related responsibilities as per management request. 


Job Requirements
·      Degree in Marketing, Management, or Related Fields

·      Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience and Master’s Degree with 3 years’ Experience.
